Despite the run by KU that challenged the Cowboys’ lead, OSU held on and snagged a key home victory in the Big 12. The Cowboys hadn’t let the Jayhawks take back the lead since it was 19-18 in the first half, until KU made a late game surge.

The 75-70 victory was sealed with a spectacular dunk by Bryce Williams after OSU intercepted the ball on the Jayhawks’ last chance to tie the game.

The last time Oklahoma State beat Kansas in Stillwater was 2018. The Jayhawks have won five in a row and eight out of the last 10 games in the series.

Cade Cunningham looked every bit the star is has shown himself to be Tuesday night, putting up 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

While both teams shot 45% from the field, it was the three-point shooting that gave the edge to OSU. The Cowboys shot 42.9% from the three and held the Jayhawks to just 23.8%.
