TULSA, OK -- A suspect is sought in Tulsa's 16th bank robbery of the year. IBC Bank at 5302 E. Skelly Drive was robbed at about 8:20 a.m. Saturday morning by a lone man dressed entirely in black.
Two IBC employees were surprised at the door by the man who demanded cash be put into a black duffel bag that he brought with him. The man had his hand hidden in the pocket of a hooded sweatshirt though he did not show a gun to bank employees.
The suspect fled from the bank on foot after the employees gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. Canine officers tracked a possible suspect south of the bank but lost the trail in an apartment parking lot.
The suspect is a black male, about 6'3" to 6'4" and 220-230 pounds. He was dressed in a hooded black pullover sweatshirt, black sweat pants and black work gloves.
Anyone with information about the robbery should call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
The bank location is closed for the rest of the day and will reopen Sunday.
