TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrested Joshua Paul Nosak, 28, over the weekend in the fatal hit and run of a 40-year-old woman last week.
Nosak was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Saturday on charges of first degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an injury accident/death, no driver's license and failure to stop at a red light.
The Tulsa resident is being held in jail on a $60,000 bond.
The accident took place at 6th and Peoria in Tulsa early Friday morning. A witness told police that a man driving a Chevy Blazer ran a red light and struck of Melissa Eubanks' Honda.
Eubanks was rushed to a Tulsa hospital where she died of her injuries.
The driver of the Blazer then tried to drive away but was blocked by the witness who put her hands on the hood to prevent him from driving away.

The report states that the witness got a good look at the driver who then gunned his vehicle and knocked her out of the way. The driver eventually ran from the area on foot.
Police tracked the Chevy to the owner who had been arrested at about midnight on Peoria for a fight. The owner of the vehicle told the officer he had been at the Empire bar with Nosak, who matched the witness description, according to the arrest report.
Two witnesses to the hit and run identified Nosak in a photo line up as the driver of the vehicle, police say.
"Nosak denies any involvement in the collision and states that his step-father came to the bar to pick him up around 1:45 a.m.," the report states.
