Tulsa Moves Hopes Of Hosting Olympics From 2020 To 2024

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa's Olympic dreams have been delayed.

The U.S. Olympic Committee has decided not to submit a bid to bring the 2020 Summer Games to the United States.

According to Gamesbids.com, the Tulsa 2020 organizing committee will now focus on putting together a pitch for the 2024 Games instead.

Each country can only submit one bid for each Olympics, so Tulsa would have to beat out Philadelphia, which has also expressed interest in bidding for the 2024 Summer Games.
