Ottawa County Police Chief Suspended Until Further Notice

MIAMI, Oklahoma -- The Miami Police Chief has been suspended with pay following two formal complaints of a 'hostile work environment.' 

City officials made the announcement about Police Chief Gary Anderson Thursday afternoon. 

Miami City Manager Huey Long says the first complaint was Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2010 by a male employee and the second was also made by another male employee Thursday, December 2, 2010. 

Long says the city is conducting an investigation into the allegations made in those two complaints.
