TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Public Schools has scheduled a series of public forums about the historic overhaul of the school district.
On Thursday, TPS said scheduling conflicts are forcing the district to change the dates of the forums which were first announced on Tuesday.
The two forums scheduled for the week of April 4, 2011 have been canceled.
Now, the first public forum is Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Gilcrease Middle School.
All four forums [listed below] will begin at 6 p.m. in the individual school's auditorium:
Everyone in the Tulsa community is invited to attend the PTA's Project Schoolhouse informational forums. The Tulsa Council of PTA's will host forums.
Project Schoolhouse refers to the TPS initiative to examine the best possible use of existing financial and physical resources to provide a quality learning experience for every student.
This process may result in the closing of some facilities. Parent and community feedback is paramount to this process and we hope to have your participation.
