TULSA,Oklahoma -- A fourth member of a McAlester family has died of wounds he sustained in a tragic house fire Tuesday, March 29.
Brad Edwards, who was burned over 65 percent of his body while attempting to save his wife and children from the structure fire, died Saturday afternoon at the Hillcrest Burn Center, according to his mother.
His wife Alyce Edwards and daughters Bradlee and Zoey Edwards died after their McAlester home caught fire.
Bradlee Edwards, 17, was a McAlester High School student and one of a set of triplets. Her two sisters, Delaney and Ally, escaped from the fire after pushing a window air conditioning unit out of the way. They were not injured.
Alyce Edwards was a children's aid at the McAlester Library, and Zoey was the youngest daughter at age 8.
A fifth daughter, Layla, was at college in South Carolina at the time of the house fire.

The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental.
