TULSA, Oklahoma -- The mountain lion captured in a north Tulsa backyard is continuing her recovery at the Tulsa Zoo.

Veterinarians haven't found any tags, microchips or tattoos that would prove she once belonged to someone.

Lab work shows she needs a little more time to recover.

"She's a little thin, her blood work indicated she has a mild case of anemia. She's got quite a few intestinal parasites but nothing that shouldn't respond well to treatment," said Dr. Kay Backues of the Tulsa Zoo.

Vets say they will use samples of DNA taken Tuesday to hopefully determine what part of the country she's from and where they might be able to return her.

They say west Texas, New Mexico or South Dakota are the closest places where larger populations of mountain lions live in the wild.
