Downtown Business Owner Announces Run For Tulsa City Council

TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa entrepreneur Blake Ewing announced Monday he will run for a seat on the Tulsa City Council.

Ewing, who owns several downtown business including Joe Momma's, Boomtown Tees, and The Max, said he is running for the District 4 seat on the city council.

"I'm running for City Council because I believe in Tulsa, and I believe in our potential," Ewing said. "Successful cities are full of people who work together, who get the big picture, and who share a passion and a vision for their city. Let's be those people. Let's be that city."

The District 4 seat is currently held by Maria Barnes.
