Lt. George Brown said a Nowata judge set Roy Cheatham's bond at $500,000.

Cheatham was arrested Monday in connection with a fatal hit and run collision near Nowata Monday morning.

Troopers said the 46-year-old was driving east on State Highway 28 Monday morning when he left the road, hitting and killing 46-year-old Richard Sullivan, Jr, of Delaware, Oklahoma.

Cheatham left the scene but was later arrested at his home.
