TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Public Schools is inviting former students, parents, and teachers of the 14 schools marked for closure to say goodbye one last time.

An open house is scheduled for Saturday May 21, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The schools will be open for alumni who want to take pictures or relive fond memories.

The Tulsa Public School Board voted to close the 14 schools in April. Project Schoolhouse is projected to save the district $5 million and eliminate approximately 6,000 empty seats.
