Court Hearing Set For Former Skiatook School Superintendent

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Just under a year after a Tulsa County grand jury indicted Skiatook School superintendent Dr. Gary Johnson, he is scheduled to be back in a Tulsa County courtroom.

Johnson is charged with one count each of embezzlement and bribery of a public official following those grand jury indictments. In March, Johnson waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

A hearing is set for Thursday, June 2, 2011.

The indictments and then charges followed the release of an audit of Skiatook Public Schools by the state Auditor and Inspector's Office in 2010.
