TULSA, Oklahoma –Police are looking a man who they said forced his way into a home Monday afternoon and brutally beat and assaulted a Tulsa mother.

It happened just before 3 p.m. in the 4500 block of East Zion.  Officers said it all started at the front door, when the woman arrived home from grocery shopping.

The woman told officers the gunman forced his way inside the home and threatened to shoot her and her two daughters.  She told police the gunman sexually assaulted her, pistol whipped her, and then ran off through the back door of the home.

"This is the worst beating I've seen in the 15 plus years I've been on," Corporal Dan Miller said.

The woman was transported to the hospital. There is no word on her condition.  Her two daughters, a 13 year old and a two year old were not hurt.

"And she said the only reason she went back in the house is because he threatened my grandbaby. She's autistic. She can't talk," the victim's mother said.

The victim's mother did not want to give her name. She says she's angry and can hardly believe anyone would abuse her daughter so badly.

"My baby's one side of her face is as big as her whole head. Her eye is closed up. Blood all in her ear and all around there. And she don't deserve that," she said.

"This is savage," Corporal Miller said.  "This was completely savage."

The victim's mother said her daughter has had trouble with break-ins before and was planning to move.

She also said her daughter received an insurance settlement Monday, but police can't confirm that anything was taken from the home.  They said the victim did not know the attacker.

Officers are looking for a black male in his 20s, about 5'7" tall. He was wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans.

If you have any information that could help police, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
