Owasso Man Arrested For Rape Of Minor

A 63-year-old Owasso retiree is being held on $125,000 bond after Owasso police took him into custody for three felony sexual assault complaints.

OWASSO, Oklahoma -- A 63-year-old Owasso man is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on three felony counts including first-degree rape of a minor. John D. Jordan was booked on complaints of first- and second-degree rape and lewd or indecent acts to a child.

On Tuesday, Owasso officers responded to complaints of rape after a young relative of Jordan's tested positive for pregnancy.

The girl told officers that Jordan had "engaged in sexual activity for several years," according to the arrest report.

Jordan, who is retired, is being held on a total of $125,000 bond.
