Funeral Services Held For Father, Son Killed In Fatal Verdigris Crash

HEAVENER, Oklahoma -- A young father and baby boy were laid to rest in Heavener Tuesday morning.

Eric Watkins and his seven-month-old son Bryor died last Friday, June 17, 2011, when their SUV was hit head on by a suspected drunk driver on Highway 66 in Verdigris.

News On 6 was there Monday night as family and friends held a private memorial to honor the father and son.

Watkins' wife, Ginger, survived the crash.

The driver, Keaton Hannah, 18, is being held on two complaints of first degree manslaughter, one complaint of driving under the influence and one complaint of leaving the scene of an accident.

"I hate him. I know the Bible and everyone says never to hate. But I hate him. I hate him with all my heart," Ginger Watkins said.
