TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tuesday, June 28, 2011 will be the Tulsa metro area's fourth ozone alert day of 2011.
The last ozone alert day was last Friday, June 24, 2011.
The Oklahoma Department of Environment Quality says persons with lung or heart disease should be aware that increased pollution may cause them to experience adverse health effects.
The DEQ is suggesting Tulsa area residents should leave their car home and walk, bike or ride the bus to work. Avoid long idle times, postpone refueling your vehicle and mowing with a gas powered mower.
