TULSA, Oklahoma -- Another arson fire destroys a building in north Tulsa late Thursday night.
It happened just after 10 p.m. near Pine and Lewis.
Firefighters tell the News On 6 it appears the building was an old beauty shop.
It's another fire in an area with a high number of arson cases and firefighters say this could be another one.
"We've already got our arson investigative team on scene and they will of course make the ultimate determination on that with the recent events as they've been unfolding. We definitely suspect arson," said District Fire Chief Bennie Herring.
Herring says arson fires are especially dangerous for firefighters to put out because it flares up so quickly using an accelerant. The heat is also a big issue for firefighters right now.
