WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Postal Service is looking into closing even more post offices, including more than 50 in Oklahoma.
On Tuesday the postal service released its list of 3,653 post offices that could be shut down to save money.
The locations will be studied for possible closure, according to U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman Sue Brennan.
In fiscal year 2010, the Postal Service suffered an $8.5 billion net loss, compared to a loss of $3.8 billion the prior year.
Some of the Oklahoma post offices on the list include Leonard, West Tulsa, Eucha, Avant and Burbank.
