SEAL With Tulsa Ties Among 30 Killed In Afghanistan

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Navy SEAL with ties to Tulsa was among the 30 killed when their helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan Saturday.

Matt Mills, 35, lived in Tulsa as a child and went to Arlington, Texas schools, according to an obituary published in a Ft. Worth newspaper.

Mills was part of the Navy SEAL team for more than 14 years and was just married before he deployed to Afghanistan.

Mills left behind 2 children from Oklahoma, according to Texas newspaper reports.
