MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -- The Muskogee County District Attorney's office dismissed child sexual charges Tuesday morning against Robert Meeks II.
District Attorney Larry Moore says a lab report from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation came back and his office determined there was not enough evidence to tie Meeks to the victim in this case.
Christina Meeks was four years old and needed a machine to breathe and a feeding tube to eat. Her short life ended after brutal abuse.
Police arrested Meeks for sexually abusing the little girl Back in June 2011. Christina's paternal grandmother, Betty Hall, was also arrested, accused of felony child neglect. And it was Hall, who really pointed the finger at her son, Robert, claiming he was responsible for hurting Christina.

But the grandmother always said police had the wrong man.
"I do not feel that Robert Meeks II is the one who done it. I do not," said Enola Justice, Victim's Grandmother. "It is my opinion that one of the people that is out walking should be sitting in the jail right along with the rest of them."
Now two months later, the person who brutally raped little Christina Meeks is still on the loose. And this family is still looking for justice.
"She was... a very precious child. And she did not deserve what she got. There's no way she deserved it at all," Justice said.
The girl's grandmother, Betty Hall, 42, is still charged with one count of child neglect in the case.
