UPDATE: The GRDA board of directors has chosen a new leader for the state agency, he is State Representative Dan Sullivan. At a special meeting Thursday, board members went into executive session where they voted to offer the job Sullivan.
TULSA, Oklahoma -- A state representative Dan Sullivan of Tulsa [R] is the new CEO and director of investments for the Grand River Dam Authority.
The board said Sullivan was notified of their decision Thursday morning and accepted the job.
The board has been searching for a new CEO since the former CEO, Kevin Easley, resigned his position in April. Easley had recently come under fire from our Oklahoma Impact Team for receiving a back-door $90-thousand dollar raise while his utility was raising rates for its customers.
GRDA's COO Michael Kiefner has been the agency's interim CEO during the search. LeGere says Kiefner was not interested in the CEO position permanently.

The meeting took place in downtown Tulsa.
Sullivan is the Republican Majority Floor Leader of the state House of Representative. His House district includes a section of Tulsa just south of downtown and on the east side of the Arkansas River from 22nd Street South to 71st Street South.
