TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Collinsville woman is dead after a car crash at U.S. Highway 75 and 116th Street North early Saturday morning.
It happened at 4:41 a.m.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a car driven by 24-year-old Lilia Lee pulled into the path of a northbound pickup truck driven by 35-year-old Ana Reyes-Ortez of Owasso.
Troopers say the Lee was westbound and failed to yield. They say the pickup truck struck the car on the driver's side, pinning Lee for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OHP says Ortez was taken by ambulance to a Tulsa hospital where she was treated and released for head and neck injuries.
The intersection has been the site of several fatal crashes over the past couple of years.
In 2009, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced it would be putting an overpass at the intersection.

Crews installed flashing warning lights on U.S. Highway 75 and 116th Street North that same year.
Preliminary work on building an overpass at the intersection has begun with actual construction work to begin either later this year or early next year.
