Two Men Arrested Following Robbery Of Tulsa Drug Store

<strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">UPDATE:</span></strong>&nbsp;Tulsa Police ID two suspects arrested in connection with a Drug Warehouse robbery in Tulsa early Tuesday.&nbsp; Arrested were Donald Smith, 37, and Blake Basore, 23, both of Tulsa.

UPDATE: Tulsa Police ID two suspects arrested in connection with a Drug Warehouse robbery in Tulsa early Tuesday.  Arrested were Donald Smith, 37, and Blake Basore, 23, both of Tulsa.  Both were booked into the Tulsa County jail.

Tulsa Police with help from Rogers County Sheriff's deputies arrested both suspects in connection with the robbery of a Drug Warehouse in Tulsa early Tuesday. 

The Drug Warehouse is located at 51st and Sheridan.

Tulsa Police say one of the robbers claimed to have an explosive device in his pocket and demanded drugs.

After getting a handful of prescription pills, the man ran out and got into a car, which drove off.

Officers got a description of the car, which the Rogers County Sheriff's Office located near 289th East Avenue and Apache.

The car was abandoned and police believe the robber and the male driver ran into some nearby woods.

Tulsa Police officers arrested one suspect quickly.   

Police are still trying to sort out which suspect actually robbed the business and which one was the driver of the getaway car.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

While searching for the suspects, a Tulsa Police officer drove his patrol car drove off a Rogers County road while trying to make a U-turn.  The officer was not injured.
