Body Of Tulsa Man Found In Arkansas Stock Pond

The body of a Tulsa man was found in an Arkansas stock pond over the weekend, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities are not releasing the man's name but say he is a white male in his 40s who was carrying identification.

The man was found by hunters at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in a pond outside Ozark, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 219 and U.S. Interstate 40.

Officials say there is no missing person's report filed on the man. The death is under investigation. It is not yet known whether the death was accidental or suspicious.
