A gas well owned by Chesapeake's drilling subsidiary Nomac Drilling blew out Thursday night in western Oklahoma.

Video on YouTube shows flames engulfing Rig Number 17 near Sweetwater, Oklahoma.

Chesapeake says crews were drilling and at 900 feet hit a zone of pressurized gas, which flowed back up the well and caught fire.

No injuries were reported.

An official said the fire could continue until Monday.
