In June of 1979, Tulsa drivers were worried about the supply of gasoline.  So worried many of them would buy just a gallon or two just to keep their tanks full.

In June of 1979, Tulsa drivers were worried about the supply of gasoline.  So worried, many of them were buying a gallon or two at a time just to keep their tanks full.

What had them so worried?  The price of gas had climbed to 84 cents a gallon.
