Tulsa arson investigators are looking for two people who may have started a bathroom fire as a distraction to steal meth making chemicals from a hardware store.

The Tulsa Fire Department says someone started a fire in the men's restroom at the Ace Hardware store located at 8929 South Memorial.

Crews responded around 2 p.m. Friday and quickly extinguished the fire before it spread to the rest of the store.

Investigators believe the arsonists started the fire to distract employees so they could steal chemicals needed to make meth.

The fire department released surveillance images of two people they believe may be involved with the fire.

Investigators are calling the couple, who were in the store shortly before employees called in the alarm, "persons of interest."

If anyone has information on these two persons please call the Arson Hotline at 918-596-(ARSN)2776.
