Oklahoma City police took a 12-year-old girl into juvenile custody after a classmate said the suspect stabbed her in the shoulder with a pencil.

Police were called to Jackson Middle School on Friday, April 13, on a report a female sixth-grader had stabbed another student. When police arrived, the victim told them her classmate had demanded some of her M&M's. The victim said she refused to share the candy because the suspect already owed her a bag of Hot Cheetos.

According to the police report, the suspect then said, "If you don't give me some M&M's, I'm going to [expletive] stab you with this pencil in your eye." Police said when the victim still refused, the suspect stabbed her in the left shoulder with a pencil.

Police said the stabbing left a puncture wound in the victim's shoulder, but she wasn't seriously hurt. The victim told officers the suspect had also stabbed her with a pencil the day before, but she didn't tell anyone because it didn't leave a mark.

Police spoke to the parents of both the victim and the suspect. The mother of the victim said she wanted to file charges. The suspect was taken to Berry House, the juvenile detention home, where she was booked on a complaint of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
