Broken Arrow City Council Ousts City Manager On Unanimous Vote

The Broken Arrow City Council unanimously voted to terminate city manager David L. Wooden in a special session Friday night.

At the April 17 Broken Arrow City Council meeting, councilors voted unanimously to place Wooden on leave, which was effective at noon Wednesday.

The city council has directed city staff to research and make a recommendation on a management consulting firm to assist in the search for a new city manager, a news release said.
