Hundreds Of Oklahomans Seek Jobs At The Goodwill Job Fair

Hundreds of Oklahomans took part in the 7th annual Goodwill Industries job fair.

Employers from a wide variety of fields met with potential employers Thursday.

Social service agencies were also on hand to help job seekers.

Tulsa has a relatively low unemployment rate at just under 4%, so the organizers of the job fair suggest that job seekers learn to really sell themselves.

"They should be able to describe their skills and what they can offer the employer," said Von Williams of Goodwill Industries. "Not what the employer can do for them, but what they can do for the employer."
