Edmond Police Arrest Teen Accused Of Raping His Grandmother

Edmond police arrest a Colorado teenager accused of raping his grandmother while visiting her in Edmond.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the Edmond grandmother called police on July 14 to report that her 15-year-old grandson raped her.

Court papers show the woman told police she takes medications that put her to sleep. On the morning of July 12, she said she woke up and noticed her panties were missing. She later found the panties under her bed. The document also showed the woman was awakened by her grandson thrusting against her later that same evening.

The victim told police she called her son, the boy's uncle, to pick him up. When the victim alerted the uncle of what happened, he took the teenager to the police department.

According to the affidavit, the boy admitted to his uncle that he "cut her panties off while she was in bed and had sex with grandma" and "had sex with grandma on the couch."

Police arrested the teenager based on the facts surrounding the case and the results of the victim's examination at a local hospital. The boy faces one count of first degree rape.
