Police Search Tulsa Walmart After Man Fires Gun Into Air

Tulsa Police evacuated the Walmart store at 2nd and Memorial for an hour and a half while they searched for a gun that had been fired outside the store.

Police say the incident began around midnight when a group of people was asked to leave the nearby Vegas Club for fighting.  

Police say the group's car stalled on Memorial.  A male got out and fired a gun into the air, then ran into the Walmart store.

The man was arrested for outstanding warrants unrelated to the shooting incident.

Tulsa Police made employees and customers wait outside while they searched the store for the handgun.  They did not find it.
