Heat Forces Emergency Repairs On I-35 Ramp

The northbound Interstate 35 ramp to eastbound Interstate 240 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday for emergency repairs.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the intense heat and heavy traffic have displaced some of the asphalt on the ramp. Crews will spend the day filling those holes.

Electronic message boards along the highway will alert drivers to the closure.
