Man Charged With Shooting Tulsa Pastor Surrenders

Rondale Boyd is charged with shooting with intent to kill, first degree burglary and robbery with a firearm.

Almost 12 hours after Tulsa Police announced Rondale Boyd, 20, was their Most Wanted Criminal Of The Week, he turned himself in to police.

Monday morning, police asked for the public's help in locating Boyd, who they believed shot a Tulsa pastor during a home invasion early on July 31, 2012.

Shortly after 9 p.m., Boyd turned himself in and was booked into the Tulsa County jail.

He is charged with shooting with intent to kill, first degree burglary and robbery with a firearm.

Tulsa Police say Boyd and four other men, Terell Cooper, 27; Joeiune Nelson, 21; Cedric Wilson, 25; and Markedirk Wilson, 26, kicked in the door of Pastor Kenneth Brooks' home at about 2 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Denver.

Police say Boyd shot Brooks in the chest, before running from the home.

Cooper, Nelson and Wilson have already been arrested and booked into jail on complaints of armed robbery and first degree burglary.

Only Cedric Wilson remains at large.
