An arrest warrant has been issued for a former supervisor at the city of Muskogee's River Country Water Park.
Felicia Pruitt is charged with embezzling $53,265.76 between June and August 2011.
Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Moore says the charge follows a lengthy investigation by the Muskogee Police after dismissal from her job in late August 2011.
Moore says police spent numerous hours going over financial records and associated surveillance video at the water park.
The probable cause affidavit, states Pruitt "used her position to falsify reports by showing a smaller amount to be deposited than what was accurate." The affidavit goes on to say Pruitt "created false sales reports and signed other employee's names to some reports."
Moore says after getting the police report, his office filed the embezzlement charge on Friday, August 17th.
He tells News On 6 his office has learned Felicia Pruitt who no longer lives in Muskogee, may now be living in California. Adding, his office will seek to have Pruitt extradited back to Muskogee wherever she lives.
