Disaster Recovery Center To Open Monday In Mannford

A disaster recovery center is opening in Mannford to help Creek County wildfire victims.

A disaster recovery center is opening in Mannford to help Creek County wildfire victims. It will be set up next to the town's library.

Just last week, the federal government declared Creek County eligible for federal aid.

Representatives from the state's emergency management team and FEMA will be on hand to answer questions, help with disaster loan applications and provide recovery information.

The center opens Monday, August 27 at noon then will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are from noon to 5 p.m.

Homeowners, renters, business and nonprofit organizations can register online with www.disasterassistance.gov, through a web-enabled phone at m.fema.gov, or by calling FEMA's toll-free number: 1-800-621 FEMA.
