A former Tulsa Victory Christian Church employee has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Chris Denman is accused of raping a teenage girl on the church's campus.

Denman briefly appeared in court Thursday to enter a blind waiver for his preliminary hearing. That means he chose not to see the evidence prosecutors have against him.

He is charged with 1st degree rape, forcible oral sodomy, lewd molestation, lewd proposal and two counts of using a computer to facilitate a sex crime.

Another church employee is also charged with sex crimes towards a child and police say both cases remain open.

"I don't know whether there are other victims at this time but if there are I hope that they have the confidence in the criminal justice system to come forward and speak the truth about what may or may not have happened to them," said Tulsa County DA Tim Harris.

Five other church employees are accused of waiting more than two weeks to report the alleged rape of the 13-year-old girl.
