Broken Arrow Police have arrested a Coweta man in connection with a death of a pedestrian who was struck by a pickup truck late Friday night on 91st Street South and Dogwood.

Police say Christopher Lange, 24, was allegedly the driver of the pickup truck involved in the 11:30 p.m. crash.

Lange was arrested Saturday on a complaint of leaving the scene of a fatality crash.

Officers say his pickup truck, a 2000 model white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was also recovered and it had damage consistent with a collision.

Broken Arrow Police say alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash.

The pedestrian, 43-year-old Robert Pitcher of Broken Arrow, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say after hitting Pitcher, the vehicle left the scene.
