Oklahoma State announced on Monday that senior wide receiver Tracy Moore has been granted a medical redshirt for the 2012 season, which will result in him gaining an additional year of eligibility for next season.

Moore was the Cowboys' leading returning receiver entering the season after hauling in 45 catches for 672 yards and four touchdowns in the Pokes' 2011 Big 12 title season.

The Tulsa Union product has 20 receptions for 259 yards and four touchdowns this season before going down with an apparent leg injury in OSU's 20-14 victory at Kansas on Oct. 13.

He has missed the Cowboys' past four games and also sat out the season-opening victory against Savannah State with a suspension. Moore had a standout individual performance in OSU's loss at Arizona, where he snagged eight passes for 106 yards and all four of his touchdowns.
