Oklahoma's only aquarium has a new exhibit: Extreme Amazon. Tuesday was the opening day of this newest exhibit sponsored by AEP-PSO at the Oklahoma Aquarium.
"Kids and adventurous adults can climb under the water and see the fish and the iguanas from a whole different perspective," said Terri Bowers of the Oklahoma Aquarium.
You can pop your head up into one of two acrylic bubbles and look around. It looks like too much fun for just kids. I wanted to check it out myself.
I asked 7-year-old Afton Labor and 5-year-old Eli Money if they thought I could make it into one of the bubbles. I think it's easier if you're 5 or 7, but I eventually got my head up there to look around.

We brought a little camera, thinking it might be easier to use in tight spaces.
We left the camera up there and got a picture of a photographer taking pictures.
It's a slick looking exhibit. It took them about 18 months to get it done, and most of the work was done by folks on the aquarium staff.
