Police are searching for a man who robbed a downtown Tulsa bank about 11 a.m. Thursday.

The robber, with a mask covering his face, entered the IBC Bank at Fifth and Main Streets and then passed along a note to tellers that demanded money.

After the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, he ran out of the building and southbound on Main Street.

There was no weapon produced or implied, no injuries were reported and only one customer was inside the branch.

The robber is described as an older white male about 5-foot-6 to 5-8, wearing a gray stocking cap and a black sweatshirt. Witnesses said the man appeared very anxious and nervous.

According to police, the robber briefly lifted the mask off his face.

The man has been seen in the neighborhood around the bank before and an investigator said it is possible he is "a street person."
