A man is in a Tulsa hospital after a wrong-way driver smashed into his car. The crash happened just after 11 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 west of the IDL on Highway 412.
Tulsa Police say a woman in a Kia was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when her car hit a Ford Mustang. She has been identified as 24-year-old Sarah Graham of Tulsa.
EMSA took the driver of the Mustang to the hospital to be evaluated. He is expected to survive.
Police gave the Graham a field sobriety test then arrested her on suspicion of DUI and took her to the Tulsa County jail.
Graham told the arresting officer that she was leaving the Cain's Ballroom and trying to get home. She said she'd had three beers, according to the arrest report.
She was booked on a complaint of driving under the influence, first offense.
