In light of the mass destruction in Moore and surrounding areas, the Oklahoma Historical Society is asking lawmakers not to worry about a bill to fund a museum in Tulsa.

In light of the mass destruction in Moore and surrounding areas, the Oklahoma Historical Society is asking lawmakers not to worry about a bill to fund a museum in Tulsa.

The Historical Society had been asking for $40 million to build the OKPOP Museum in the Brady Arts District.

The society's director, board members and supporters say now is the time to focus on tornado relief, not fight for state dollars.
