Tulsa Man Arrested In Homicide At River Glenn Apartments

Police have made an arrest in the weekend killing of a man at River Glenn Apartments.

Detectives say Ronald Dion Harris was found shot and killed on a walkway in a common area of the complex, after residents reported hearing shots fired at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

After four days of interviewing potential suspects and witnesses in the area, with assistance from the Tulsa Police Organized Gang Unit, homicide investigators began to focus on Andre Darnell Thomas, 26. Thomas was arrested Wednesday afternoon, near 2500 North Lewis Avenue.

Tulsa Police say they found Thomas had just been released from federal custody on April 23, 2013.

Though investigators say they have not found a clear-cut motive yet, some of the people they've interviewed in the course of the investigation do have gang associations.

Thomas is being held in the Tulsa County jail without bond.
