Utility Pole Fire Cuts Power To Signal Lights At Tulsa Intersection

A utility pole caught fire when electric lines began arcing early Tuesday near 40th and Memorial.

The Tulsa Fire Department dispatched firefighters to the scene at about 2 a.m.

Firefighters put out the fire quickly but the flames cut power to traffic lights at 41st and Memorial.

City crews set up a four-way stop sign in the intersection until the power was restored.
