It was a good day for the people of Sapulpa, as the Convoy of Hope made a pit stop in Green Country. The faith-based organization drives across the country, helping communities in need.

On Saturday, the Convoy gave away a million dollars in free goods and services - like groceries, haircuts and dental screenings.

The turnout surpassed everyone's expectations.

"Before the day started we were hoping for 3,000 people, but obviously as you can look around and see we are way pass 3,000," said Bob Roach, Convoy of Hope coordinator.

"We are probably in the area of 5,000 plus people plus we have an army of about 800 to 900 volunteers that are here serving today."

Since August of last year, the Convoy of Hope has donated more than $300 million in gifts.
