Tulsa Police are looking for an ex-convict they say assaulted a bail bondsman, an elderly woman and her adult daughter, then stole the daughter's vehicle Wednesday morning.
Police said a bail bondman was attempting to take Jonah Beartusk, 30, into custody at 9 a.m. at 51st Street and Yale Avenue, but Beartusk resisted.
During the struggle, Beartusk grabbed the bondsman's pepper spray and used it on the bondsman, then ran away.
Officers said Beartusk then broke into a home in the 4700 block of South Hudson where he confronted an 87-year-old woman and took money from her purse and drove off in her car.
The car is a 2001 greenish-gray Ford Taurus with Oklahoma tag 465-DWZ.
Beartusk is wanted in Wagoner County on a second-degree burglary charge. Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show Beartusk served almost a year in prison on a Tulsa County conviction of placing body waste on a government employee.
Beartusk is 6-feet and weights 200 pounds. He was last seen with a pair of handcuffs attached to one wrist.
