Small Plane's Hard Landing Caught On Camera At Wiley Post Airport

A News 9 viewer captured video of a small plane as it made a hard landing Sunday evening at Wiley Post Airport.

Authorities say the plane was entering its final approach when the left landing gear collapsed upon impact with the runway.

Two people were on board the aircraft, but neither suffered any injuries. The plane remained on the runway while crews worked to repair the gear. The plane was moved off the runway late Sunday night.

No word yet on where the plane was flying in from.

Witness 16-year-old Grace Manglicmot was nearby when the plane made its frightening landing. She captured the entire event on video.
