Police arrested a 20-year-old man after he was reportedly caught trying to leave through the back door of a Walmart with a shopping cart of stolen merchandise.

Ryan Alyn Ward was caught with 32 stolen items including the shoes on his feet, an arrest report states.

The arresting officer says employees stopped Ward as he tried to leave the 81st and Lewis Walmart at 4:20 a.m. with about $500 in goods.

Ward, who is homeless, resisted arrest as officers tried to cuff him, police say.

"Suspect repeatedly threatened to hunt officers down, harm their family and kill the officers," the report states. He also reportedly spit all over the patrol car on his way to jail and threatened to have his "home boys" find and kill officers.

He is in the Tulsa County Jail on a $3,000 bond for larceny from retailer - second offense, threatening a public official and resisting arrest.
