Former state senator Randy Brogdon who once supported creation of a state militia to protect Oklahoma from an "overreaching federal government" plans to run for governor again.
Randy Brogdon lost to Governor Mary Fallin in the 2010 Republican primary.
Christmas Day, Brogdon announced he was running on his Facebook page.
In his announcement, Brogdon said he would be making his case "why I believe Constitutional Conservative leadership is needed in the Governor's office."
In 2010, Brogdon received 39 percent of the vote . After the election, Brogdon took a job with the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
